Telford and Wrekin Council elections

Telford and Wrekin Council (prior to 1998 'The Wrekin Council') is elected every four years.

The Wrekin Council was a second-tier district in the non-metropolitan county of Shropshire, England. The new unitary authority (since 1998) is now the principal local authority of the borough of Telford and Wrekin. The borough is entirely parished and elections to the town and parish councils also take place every four years.

Since the last boundary changes in 2003, 54 councillors are elected from 33 wards.^[1] Boundary changes will affect the next election to the council, in 2015, with 54 councillors to be elected from 30 wards.^[2]
