Team Secret is a global eSports DotA 2 team that formed and debuted on August 27, 2014. The team is self-handled and currently with no sponsor.

Overview

2014

BigDaddy and Fly were confirmed to leave Fnatic on July 27, 2014.[1] On August 3, 2014, S4 left Alliance. Some rumors of a new 'all-star' team began to rise on reddit.

Na`Vi posted on their website they released Puppey and Kuroky.[2] On August 27, 2014, Team Secret debuted and showed their roster in a match against Alliance[3] Team Secret withdrew from Star Ladder in November 2014.[4]

2015

After a solid second place in Star-Ladder Series 10,[5] the team announce on their twitter and the DAC site of the departure of Fly and BigDaddy, with Zai and Arteezy taking their place as stand-ins[6]

In the team got a third place in the Dota 2 Asia Championship[7] and decided to stick with their roster, going on to win 5 premier tournaments[8][9][10][11][12] The team was sent to the losers bracket by ViCi Gaming.[13]

After a very disappointing 7-8 place finish in The International 5, the team mentioned they will have some roster changes. Following a feud with Kuroky, both players left the team. Arteezy went back to his previous team Evil Geniuses and Kuroky to the to-be Team Liquid.[14] On August 15, the team announce that Zai will go and finish school.[15] S4 also rejoins his previous team Alliance[16]

For the Frankfurt Major 2015, the team's new roster was announced and consisted of w33ha, Misery, and EternalEnvy[17][18]

In the Major, after seeding into the winner's bracket the team manage to walk out as second place winners.[19]
