Tarnówka [tarˈnufka] is a village in Złotów County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Tarnówka.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) west of Złotów and 105 km (65 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany. For more on its history, see Złotów County.
