About the channel

It is watched widely on both sides of the border because of its impartial stand on issues in Bangladesh. Apart from local and international news, some special programmes of Tara Newz delve into the spheres of health, education, technology, women's issues and Indo-Bengali relations. Interactive programmes based on current affairs are also aired, inviting participation, inputs and feedback.
