Tapitsfly (foaled February 25, 2007 in Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse) daughter of Tapit, out of A.P. Indy's son Pulpit. She is out of the mare Flying Marlin, by Marlin.[1]
Her most important victory came in the 2009 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, when she finished in 1:34.25 over firm turf.[2]
On June 9, 2012 (the same day as the Belmont Stakes, she took the Grade I Just A Game Stakes from the favorite (Winter Memories), wiring the field and coming very close to equaling the course record.[3]
She sold for $1,850,000 to Katsumi Yoshida along with Zazu for $2,100,000 to stand in the broodmare band in Japan.
Dale Romans trains the filly, who now has seven wins from 22 starts.
