The Tampere Floral Festival is an annual summer festival held in Tampere, Southern Finland in July and/or August. During the festival the centre of the city is decorated by flower arrangements and about 150 events such as concerts, parades, a "wine village" and a children's day take place. The festival lasts approximately one week and attracts thousands of local residents and visitors.[1]

The Tampere Floral Festival has been organised since 1984 by Tampere Tunnetuksi ry., an association established in 1965 to represent local companies. In addition to the Floral Festival, the association also organises Tampere Illuminations and Tampere Christmas Season Opening.

Each year a "Floral Mayor" is elected from well-known Tampereans to take part in the promotion and opening of the festival. A PR girl ("Flower Girl") is elected to promote the event and to participate in charity events.
