"Talk Me Down" (stylized as "TALK ME DOWN") is a song by Australian singer and songwriter Troye Sivan from his debut studio album Blue Neighbourhood (2015). It was written by Sivan, Bram Inscore, Brett McLaughlin (Leland), Allie X, and Emile Haynie.[1] The song was released with the pre-order of the album on 15 October 2015 as the album's second single.[2]

Music video

According to Sivan in his interview on Beats 1 Radio with Zane Lowe, the music video for the song is the last video in the "Blue Neighbourhood" trilogy. It was released on 20 October 2015.[3] A Tweet by Sivan also hinted at a documentary about the making of his studio LP being released. The video was directed by Tim Mattia.[4] Christopher Turri of popcrush said, "Every aspect of the video’s composition is dipped in melancholia, from the obvious graveyard/funeral scenes to the blue color filter, from the good and bad flashbacks to the actual suicide. This is a sad and serious affair, and Sivan doesn’t want us to forget it. And rightfully so."[5]
