Dato' Haji Tajuddin Abdul Rahman (born 17 January 1948) is a Malaysian politician and is the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Pasir Salak constituency in the state of Perak. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) partyin the governing Barisan Nasional coalition.[1]

Tajuddin has also served as a member of the State Assembly of Perak, for Kampong Gajah.[2]

Tajuddin has been described as an "outspoken" member of Parliament.[3] In 2008, he called opposition MP M. Kulasegaran a "bastard" in Parliament[4] and was cited for making sexual innuendos.[4]

Controversies

He was sacked from Umno in 1995 following allegations that he had paid RM6 million to secure his position as a division chief. who was tied to allegations of corruption in the award of a RM1.3 billion 23-year concession to his company to build the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Tapah campus.[7] He is notorious in making racist remark like, 'to slap’ Chinese citizen who complain outside Malaysia [8]
