Taťána Kocembová (Czech pronunciation: [ˈtacaːna ˈkotsembovaː]; born 2 May 1962 in Ostrava) is a retired 400 metres runner who represented Czechoslovakia. Her greatest achievement was the 1983 World Championship silver medal in a personal best time of 48.59s. That time still ranks as the number 10 time and number 5 individual ever (behind race winner, Czechoslovakian teammate Jarmila Kratochvílová, number 2 in both categories).[1] She also won the 1984 European Athletics Indoor Championships. She also holds the world best for the unofficial distance of 500 metres.
