Tømmerstø is a neighborhood in Kristiansand, Norway. It is located with the shore in a typical Southern Norway archipelago. The neighborhood is mostly located with large houses and some villas. Tømmerstø is a popular tourist area in the summer with a lot of cabins for rent, The Royal Family of Norway owns a cottage in Tømmerstø. Islands like Herøya, Teistholmen and Furuholmen is island populated by both residents and cottage owners. They're connected with the mainland with private boat.
There are two schools in the area: Kringsjå skole, an elementary school and Sørlandet Maritime videregående, a high school. The closest junior high is at Holte.[1]
