Tómas Lemarquis (born 3 August 1977) is an Icelandic film actor. He is possibly best recalled for his appearance in the 2003 Icelandic film Nói Albínói.
Biography
Lemarquis is the son of French teacher Gérard Lemarquis and an Icelandic mother.[1] Lemarquis' most distinguishing physical features - his bald head, lack of eyelashes and eyebrows - is the result of him losing his hair at the age of 13 to Alopecia universalis.[2] He grew up in Iceland and France and studied theater at the Cours Florent in Paris, where he was a classmate of actress Audrey Tautou,[2] and the Reykjavík School of Fine Arts in Iceland.[2]
Lemarquis is a fluent speaker of Icelandic, French, English, German and Danish. He currently resides in France.[1]
