Szwałk [ʂfau̯k] (German: Schwalg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kowale Oleckie, within Olecko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) south-west of Kowale Oleckie, 19 km (12 mi) north-west of Olecko, and 120 km (75 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia). Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.
The village has a population of 130.
