The Szechenyi's monal-partridge or buff-throated partridge (Tetraophasis szechenyii) is a species of bird in the Phasianidae family. It is found in China and India. Its natural habitat is boreal forests.
The common name and Latin binomial commemorate the Hungarian explorer of Central Asia Graf Bela Széchenyi.[2]
