Synodus macrocephalus is a species of lizardfish that lives mainly in the Indo-West Pacific.
Information
The Synodus macrocephalus is known to be found in a marine environment within a demersal range. This species is native to a tropical climate. The average length of the Synodus macrocephalus as an unsexed male is about 7.8 centimeters or about 3 inches.[1] They commonly occupy Indonesia and the Chesterfield Islands.[2] They are a marine species that is recorded to only live in salt water.[3] The Synodus macrocephalus is also known to be reef-associated when it comes to its living environment. [4] A common English name for the Synodus macrocephalus is the largehead lizardfish. [5]
