The Swedish Evangelical Mission (SEM) (Swedish: Evangeliska Fosterlands-Stiftelsen "Evangelical Homeland Foundation", EFS) is an independent organization within the Church of Sweden. Established on 7 May 1856,^[1] it cooperates with independent churches, Christian councils and other partners in Eritrea, Ethiopia, India, Malawi, the Sudan and Tanzania. The focus is on education, relationships and to communicate the gospel.
