Suzie Higgie
Suzie Higgie is an Australian musician. She is lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for the Falling Joys, an Australian alternative rock band formed in Canberra in 1985.[1]
To date Suzie has recorded 5 albums and numerous singles and E.Ps -three albums with the Falling Joys and two solo albums. 'Soon Will Be Tomorrow' is a collaboration with Conway Savage from Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and 'Songs of Habit' is Suzie's first self produced solo album.
Her sister is Jennifer Higgie, an Australian novelist, screenwriter, art critic and co-editor of the London-based contemporary arts magazine, Frieze. Her brother is Andrew Higgie, a London-based theatre and television producer. Suzie's niece is the Australian born but currently Bristol based illustrator and street artist Anna Higgie.Suzie is married to Matt Crosbie (sound engineer to Nick Cave) and they have two children, Alice and Oliver.
