Martha Susan "Susie" McEntire-Eaton (formerly Susie Luchsinger) (born November 8, 1957) is an American CCM singer. She is the younger sister of Reba McEntire, Alice McEntire Foran and Pake McEntire .[1]

Early years

McEntire-Eaton was born on November 8, 1957 to Clark Stephen McEntire (1928 - 2014), and Jacqueline "Jackie" [Smith] McEntire (b. 1927) in Chockie, Oklahoma and was raised there. Eaton attended Oklahoma State University.

Musical career

She toured with sister Reba McEntire in the 1980s, in addition to singing on the albums Heart to Heart (1981) and Unlimited (1982).

In 1993, she released her debut solo record, scoring several hits on Christian country radio.[1] The album hit #39 on the U.S. Billboard Top Contemporary Christian Albums chart in 1994.[2] Several further solo albums followed in the 1990s and 2000s. McEntire-Eaton was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame on November 5, 2011.[3]

Personal life

She married rodeo cowboy Paul Luchsinger on November 27, 1981, who she divorced on May 19, 2008. She has 3 children: E.P., Lucchese and Samuel. Paul Luchsinger died May 12, 2015, in Sayre, Okla., from cancer. Their eldest runs the website for the family McEntire ranch in Chockie, Okla. On Dec. 12, 2009, she married speaker, adventurer and fitness professional Mark Eaton of Seattle, Wash., in Cannon Beach, Ore. She and Mark travel the U.S. with an inspirational and entertaining message of faith and fitness.
