Susanne Boll

Susanne Boll-Westermann is a Professor for Multimedia and Internet in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Oldenburg, Germany. She is the vice dean for computer science in the school of computing science, business administration, economics, and law. Her main research interests are semantic information retrieval, intelligent user-interfaces and mobile systems. Susanne Boll received her PhD from the Vienna University of Technology. She contributed to about 150 scientific papers and organized a number of conferences and workshops. Susanne Boll is an active member of SIGMM of the ACM and is a member of the board at the research institute OFFIS.
