    Sunshine After the Rain is a song originally written by Ellie Greenwich in 1969 and performed by Elkie Brooks[1] in 1977 and Berri in 1994 / 1995.

    History

    Sunshine After the Rain was released in 1977 and gained position 10 in UK Singles Chart. The song was featured on Elkie Brooks's 1977 album Two Days Away and is track 4.[2]

      In 1994, Berri recorded The Sunshine After the Rain at Animal Tracks Recording Studio in Hull. The song was produced by Steve Kirkby, who also performed the backing track. It contains a sample of "I Feel Love" by Donna Summer.

      The Sunshine After the Rain was released twice. On the first release, it gained position 26 in the UK Singles Chart in December 1994. On its second release the song gained position 4 on the UK Singles Chart in August 1995.[2]

      Rainbow in the Sky

      In 1995, DJ Paul Elstak created a Happy Hardcore song called Rainbow in the Sky. The "K&A Blast" versions very closely resembled the Berri version of The Sunshine After the Rain. Rainbow in the Sky was released in the UK on 12" vinyl and CD single.[4] The Rainbow in the Sky CD single also contained Paul's single, Luv U More.[4]
