Sundarbazar is a Municipality in Lamjung District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. The Sundarbazar Municipality was formed by merging the existing Village Development Committees i.e. Bhoteodar, Sundarbazar, Parewadanda, Tarku and Kuncha. As of 2011 Nepal census it had 9,030 male population and 11,445 female population living in 5,512 households.[1]
Sundarbazar is the education center of the Lamjung district. There are two campuses affiliated by Tribhuvan University Nepal, Matribhumi Campus and Lamjung Agriculture and Animal Science Campus. There is also Adarsa Bal High School, Saipatri Boarding School, Insight Vision Boarding School and Bhu Pu Sainik School.
