Sunbury Downs College is a public secondary College located in the north-west regional town of Sunbury, Victoria, Australia.
The College is set on an expansive single campus located within the northern Melbourne suburb of Sunbury and caters for students in Years 7-12. They provide a modern and dynamic learning environment that seeks to inspire the students to strive for excellence and to develop social responsibility for the world in which they all live.
In recent years the College has experienced renewal and successive growth of enrolments at Year 7 and throughout the College. Thanks to pre-conditions for school improvement that are already established, the College will continue to build price and achievement through high expectations.
At the Sunbury Downs College the future comes alive with possibilities. There are many well-resourced opportunities and challenges in which students participate to develop the ‘confidence to achieve’. Sunbury Downs College creates critically reflective, resilient, confident and independent learners for life, through a learning community which provides a safe, secure, challenging and orderly learning environment. Deep learning is facilitated for all students through outstanding teaching as well as supportive and authentic relationships.
Students are actively taught skills relating to meaningful citizenship and leadership. Effort and responsibility are key elements of Sunbury Downs College, promoting an atmosphere of respect and equality amongst peers. Students learn the value of working in teams and there are many well defined leadership opportunities.[4]
Accelerated Curriculum & Enrichment (ACE) Program
In 2008 an Accelerated Curriculum & Enrichment (ACE) program was introduced. Sunbury Downs College is an academic school with a wide range of dynamic extracurricular programs. Sunbury Downs College is 'small enough to care, large enough to challenge'.[5]
House System
Students are divided into one of four houses upon enrolling into the College. These houses compete every year in various events to win house points in the hope of winning the house cup. Each house is named after a notable person.

- Evans (Red)
Previous Principals
As of Term 3 in 2015, the current Sunbury Downs College Principal is Maria Oddo.[6]
Previous Principals of the College were Brett Moore, Graeme Brown, Vin Virtue and John Shaw (founding Principal).
