Sun City Festival
Sun City Festival is an age-restricted master-planned community in Maricopa County, Arizona, located within the city boundary of northern Buckeye, Arizona. It is approximately 10 miles west of Surprise, Arizona. It was developed by Pulte Homes-Del Webb, the company responsible for the other prominent retirement communities in Arizona and California, including the original Sun City, Sun City West, and Sun City Grand, which are nearby. Sun City Festival is currently home to a world class Sage Recreation Center, Copper Canyon Golf Course, and gourmet restaurant. Next to this premier community is Festival Foothills, a non-age-restricted community. Both Sun City Festival and Festival Foothills are part of the much larger Festival Ranch. Current services include Festival Village Market LLC near the entrance to the community at 19491 North Canyon Springs Boulevard, Buckeye, Arizona 85396 which has a convenience store and a Shell Gas Station. Nearby is Festival Foothills Elementary School which is part of the Wickenburg School District. Other schools in the district include Hassayampa Elementary, Vulture Peak Middle School, the online academy, and Wickenburg High School.
