Sun Belt Conference football

The Sun Belt Conference is a conference of 11 (originally 7) universities which participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Division I Football Bowl Subdivision. Although the Sun Belt was formed in 1976, it did not start sponsoring football until 2001.
