Sumire Matsubara[1] (松原 すみれ Matsubara Sumire, born July 15, 1990, in Tokyo, Japan),[1] better known for her stage name Sumire (すみれ), is a Japanese fashion model who is represented by the talent agencies Sky Corporation (for entertainment activities and advertising) and Bon Image (for fashion shows and magazines).

Sumire is the daughter of entertainers Junichi Ishida and Chiaki Matsubara.[2] She attended Punahou School located in Honolulu, Hawaii. After graduating from Punahou, Sumire was accepted into the theater department at Carnegie Mellon University, where she is currently on a leave of absence. Sumire is left-handed.
