Sumeet Hukamchand Mittal is an Indian TV and film producer. He is the co-founder and director of Shashi Sumeet Productions.[1]
Sumeet is from Ahmedabad and shifted to Mumbai in 1998 to became an actor. Toward this goal he joined acting classes and worked in a few commercials. He also worked with Rajshri Productions as a scriptwriter for the film Ek Vivah Aisa Bhi. Mittal is the husband of Shashi Mittal who is his co-founder at Shashi Sumeet Productions which they launched in 2009.[2]
He has produced numerous soap operas and television series including Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai, Haar Jeet, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat, Kairi, Punar Vivah and Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed. He is currently producing Diya Aur Baati Hum, Tu Mera Hero, Muh Boli Shaadi, Dream Girl — Ek Ladki Deewani Si and Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi.[3]
In 2013 he produced the Marathi movie Rangkarmi.[4]
