Sufficiently Breathless, the second album by Captain Beyond, was released in 1973 and features a jazzier, smoother sound than its predecessor, reminiscent of mid-1970s Santana. Original drummer/song writer Bobby Caldwell was replaced by Marty Rodriguez on this album, and subsequently Lee Dorman composed the songs for this album.
