Sucheta Bhide Chapekar (Marathi: सुचेता भिडे चापेकर) (born 6 December 1948) is an Indian classical dancer and choreographer, and an exponent of Bharatnatyam.[1] She is the founder of 'Kalavardhini', a trust supporting the teaching and propagation activities in classical dance, where she also teaches Bharatnatyam.[2]
She was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2007 by Sangeet Natak Akademi, India's National Academy for Music, Dance and Drama.
