Steven M. Landek (born March 24, 1967) is a member of the Illinois Senate representing the 12th district since his appointment in 2011.[1] The 12th district includes all or parts of Bridgeview, Burbank, Bedford Park, McCook, Brookfield, Riverside, Berwyn, and Cicero.[2] Prior to the 2011 redistricting he represented the 11th district. He is currently the Mayor of Bridgeview[3] and the Lyons Township Democratic Committeeman.[4]
State Senator
In the Senate, Senator Landek currently serves as Vice-Chairpeson of the Human Services Committee and is assigned to Appropriations II, Commerce, Revenue and Local Government.
