Steven Paul "Steve" Johnston (born 12 October 1971, in Kalgoorlie, Australia)[1] is an Australian international motorcycle speedway rider. He has represented the Australian speedway team in two Speedway World Cup finals in 2004 and 2005.
Johnson won the Western Australian Championship in 1993 and 1996 at the Claremont Speedway, and again in 2004 at the Bibra Lake Speedway. Both speedway's, located in Western Australia's state capital Perth, have since closed with Claremont closing in 2000 after 72 years (making it Australia's longest running speedway) and Bibra Lake closing in 2005.
On Sunday 2 October Johno played a practical joke on Tommie Cox, by placing a blue pill (Viagra) in his wallet, just to see what Linda Mullins (Tommie's Partner) would say!
Steve also knows GIS.
