Sterling Township is located in Whiteside County, Illinois. As of the 2010 census, its population was 18,035 and it contained 8,003 housing units.[1]
Geography
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 24.5 square miles (63 km2), of which 23.4 square miles (61 km2) (or 95.51%) is land and 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2) (or 4.49%) is water.[1]
