Stenaelurillus is a spider genus of the Salticidae family (jumping spiders).

Appearance

All species have two white longitudinal stripes on the carapace, both sexes show strong bristles around the eyes.

Distribution

Species of this genus occur from South Africa to China. Most species live in Africa, with some species found in Asia.

Name

The genus name is combined from Greek sten- "narrow" and the salticid genus Aelurillus.
