Stefan Oschmann (born 25 July 1957 in Würzburg) is a German business executive, who will become the chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of the executive board of the German pharmaceutical company Merck in April 2016.

Oschmann studied veterinary medicine at LMU 1977–1982 and earned a PhD in 1985. He worked for the International Atomic Energy Agency 1985–1987 and for the German Animal Health Federation 1987–1989. From 1989 to 2011, he worked for MSD, and most recently served as the company's President of Emerging Markets. He joined Merck as a member of the executive board in 2011, and became vice chairman of the executive board and deputy CEO of Merck in 2015.[1] In October 2015, it was announced that Oschmann will succeed Karl-Ludwig Kley as CEO in April 2016.[2][3]

Oschmann is the president of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers & Associations (IFPMA).
