Career highlights

Stefan Martin (born 17 November 1986) is a professional Australian rules footballer currently playing for the Brisbane Lions in the Australian Football League (AFL).

Martin was drafted by Melbourne with their 3rd pick in the 2008 Pre-season Draft from the Sandringham Zebras (VFL). He made his debut in Round 14 for Melbourne's match against the Brisbane Lions at the MCG.[1]

Martin is a marking ruckman, but was mostly used in defence when playing for Melbourne.

On 26 October 2012, Martin was traded to the Brisbane Lions.

In 2015 he was the joint winner of the Merrett–Murray Medal as Brisbane's best and fairest, alongside Dayne Beams, Mitch Robinson and Dayne Zorko.[2]
