Steamworks Brewing Company is a brewery located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Started by owner Eli Gershkovitch, the company has been catering to locals since 1995.[1] Steamworks is located in the historic Landing Building on the edge of historic Gastown.[2]

Products

Steamworks brews a number of beers, some of which are on their tap year round and some that are seasonal. Year round, Steamworks offers Lions Gate Lager, Signature Pale Ale, Empress India Pale Ale & Coal Porter that alternates with Heroica Oatmeal Stout monthly.

Steamworks has a restaurant that serves a wide selection of food and beer. [3]

seasonal brews include the Ipanema Summer White beer,[4] Skinny Tire Hefeweizen, Raspberry Frambozen, & Sour Cherry Ale. Steamworks Great Pumpkin Ale has become one of the great beers in the Vancouver craft beer scene.[5] It is on tap at Steamworks around the time of Halloween. Finally Blitzen Christmas Ale is Steamworks Christmas beer.

As part of a 100th year commemoration, Steamworks brewed Copper Roof Ale, an ESB (extra special bitter) reflecting the copper roof of the original Vancouver Sun building located near Gastown.[6][7]
