Staubkind is a German rock band led by Sven "Louis" Manke. The name is German and means "Dust child".

Band history

Staubkind was founded in 2003 by vocalist Sven "Louis" Manke. The band took inspirations from artists such as Oomph!, Zeraphine, Linkin Park and Evanescence.[1] In 2004 the band released the debut album Traumfänger and in 2007 their 2nd album Zu Weit. On December 20, 2008 they performed a live show with Unheilig and Eisbrecher at the Expo Halle II. In 2012 Staubkind went on tour with Unheilig as an opening act on their Lichter Der Stadt tour, which ran from June 30th, 2012 to September 8th, 2012.
