"Stars" is a single by the band Simply Red. "Stars" was originally released in the 1991 album of the same name. The single reached number 8 in the United Kingdom and was successful in some other countries in Europe, but did not reach the Top 40 in the United States, unlike Simply Red's previous single "Something Got Me Started". However, the song did reach number eight in the US Adult Contemporary chart.
Both songs were featured on Simply Red's 1996 compilation album Greatest Hits.

The video to "Stars" features Hucknall wandering around a desert surrounded by large gold stars with close-ups of him and a woman.

Olivia Ong, Singaporean bossa nova singer recorded a cover in 2010. Shahrukh Khan, Indian actor and producer, covered this song for British and American version of Galaxy World of Alisa, in episode The Chaos in the Clock Shop.
