Grieg Star Shipping is a shipping company based in Bergen, Norway that operates 60–70 vessels with a total of 3 million deadweight tonnes. The company is a joint venture between Grieg Group and Masterbulk that was founded in 1961. The main area is industrial transport with 50 open hatch ships. It also operates 20 handysize and handymax bulk carriers as well as two Container ships. It also operates Squamish Terminals in British Columbia, Canada. The ships are owned by the two mother companies.[1]
