Star Seekers
The Star Seekers are a group of villains from the Transformers entertainment franchise, introduced in the Transformers: Prime continuity in the novels Transformers: Exiles and Transformers: Retribution. While some incarnations of their membership have included former Decepticons, the group is generally understood to be a faction separate from both them and the Autobots.
History
Aligned Continuity
The Star Seekers are Cybertronian colonists or descendants thereof who were left isolated when the decline of Cybertron's empire resulted in the collapse of their Space Bridge network. Cut off from Cybertron and any support, many comrades of the Star Seekers perished, while the remainder were forged into a lethal and dangerous fighting force that terrorized the galaxy. When the Ark departed Cybertron, the Star Seekers began tracking it aboard their vessel the Tidal Wave, following it first to Velocitron and then to Junkion. After attacking both worlds, the Star Seekers acquired the Requiem Blaster, which they attempted to use to destroy the Nemesis when they engaged the Decepticons on a later occasion. However, the Star Seekers were forced to jettison the weapon and break off the engagement, and were not heard from afterwards.
Transformers: Timelines
In an alternate timeline, the Star Seekers-under the leadership of Cannonball-sought out Unicron's head in order to gain power with with which to rule the galaxy. In this quest they were opposed by Ginrai and the Knights of Cybertron.
