Stafford Hendricks Cassell (February 8, 1909 April 16, 1966) was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Cassell was the head college football coach for the Morningside Mustangs located in Sioux City, Iowa in 1942 and the American Eagles in Washington, D.C. from 1940–1941. His coaching record at Morningside was two wins and six losses. As of the conclusion of the 2009 season, this ranks him #20 at Morningside in total wins and #18 at the school in winning percentage (.250).[2] His coaching record at American was two wins, seven losses and one tie for a winning percentage of .250.
