St Aidan's College, Birkenhead

St Aidan’s College[1] was founded as a Theological College in 1846[2] to train Anglican clergy to serve in the Church of England.[3] It was located in Shrewsbury Road, Birkenhead and closed in 1970. The name has been continued at St Mellitus North West;[4] and its archives are located at the University of Liverpool.[5]
