St. Mary's in the Mountains Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Virginia City, Nevada. The church includes a museum about its history and a gift shop.[2]
History
Originally built in 1868 by Father Patrick Manogue,[3] the church experienced rapid growth during the mid 19th century.[4] In 1875 the church burned and it was rebuilt in 1876.[5]
