St. Joseph's Hospital is a private hospital in Garden Hill, Sligo, Ireland offering healthcare to privately insured patients. Founded in the 1950s, it was part of the Mount Carmel Medical Group, which includes Aut Even Hospital in Kilkenny and Mount Carmel Hospital, Dublin.[1]
It was acquired by the Belfast-based healthcare business, 3fivetwo Group which runs Kingsbridge private hospital in Belfast in June 2015. They plan to re-brand it as Kingsbridge Private Hospital Sligo.[2]
Services
Specialities provided include general surgery, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), orthopaedics, rheumatology, ophthalmology, dermatology, vascular surgery, geriatrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, oncology, cardiology, general medicine, and neurology. It has 19 beds and about 60 staff.[3]
In 2009, the hospital received Joint Commission International accreditation.[4]
