The St. Amant High School Marching Band program is known throughout the southern U.S. as one of the South's premier marching bands. They've attended several marching festivals, locally and nationally, including the Louisiana Showcase of Marching Bands every year since 2001,the Bands of America Super Regional in Atlanta, The Northshore Camellia Marching Festival, the Dutchtown High School Invitational Marching Festival, the Sulphur High Marching Festival, the Denham Springs Yellow Jacket Invitational, as well as many others. The marching band is made up of two parts: a "Spirit" band, which includes everyone in the band and performs at halftime on home games, and a smaller "Competition" band, which features the most elite student musicians at St. Amant High.

The year 2000 saw the first full utilization of the color guard as well as the first time a front ensemble was used. In 2001, the St. Amant High School Marching Band was invited to perform in the Showcase of Louisiana Marching Bands, where they scored 10th place overall. The St. Amant High Band stayed in the top ten every year afterward until 2009. The band placed 2nd place overall in 2005, placed 2nd once again in 2010 at the preliminaries, were the AAA class champions, and placed 1st best overall percussion in AAA.

The St. Amant High School Concert band program is currently the one of the most prestigious concert band organization in the state of Louisiana. The band program is made up of a Concert Band, a Symphonic Band, and a Wind Symphony. In 2011, St. Amant was the only high school in the state to bring three bands to State Festival, as well as being only the third band in the history of Louisiana to bring three bands to state festival and score all "Ones" for all three bands. The Wind Symphony has worked personally with composers like Frank Ticheli on his "Angels in the Architecture".

The St. Amant High School Company of Thespians (currently led by Heidi Frederic and Selby Boriel) is an acting group, composed of students, that practices, arranges, and puts on theatrical performances for the enjoyment of the community. This group has been commended several times as one of the greatest troupes of actors in all of Ascension Parish, rivaling and challenging many other schools whose own troupes attempt to work towards the standards of St. Amant. Students enrolled in any of the theatre classes (provided they have accumulated enough 'Thespian Points') are also eligible to join the prestigious "International Thespian Society", which is made up of the elite of the St. Amant thespians. Two theatrical productions are currently planned to be performed in Winter of 2011 by the St. Amant Company of Thespians. One, entitled Romeo, Juliet and Toto too! is predicted to draw a previously unprecedented number of viewers due to its professional-grade cast.

The St. Amant High School Choral program is one of the most accomplished choral programs in the area. The program consists of three ensembles: the Beginning Choir, Advanced Chorus, and Select Ensemble. Each rehearses during the school day. Students from these ensembles have participated in local, state, regional, and national honor choirs. Most recently, four students participated in the ACDA National Honor Choir. Graduates of the choral program have received vocal scholarship offers to LSU, Northwestern State University, SLU, and Loyola University New Orleans. At competitions, the choirs are regularly praised for their achievements.
