The Anjaneya Temple at Ayipettai, Cuddalore is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Hanuman. The principal idol of Hanuman is 37-feet tall. The idol was installed in 2015.
The main shrine houses Anjaneya. Anjaneya is facing South and the main entrance is on the South. On the North-West corner Navagraha sannidhi is present. In southwest, a full-fledged Sannidhi for Sri Rama has been built and here He has taken abode with Seetha and Lakshmana. The Gods are facing East. Rama's role as the protector and ruler is signified here as Rama is seen carrying his bow, hence the name "Kothanda Rama" for the Lord here. The "ramapada"the rama's foot is present. Garuda azhvar is present in the east facing the west. In front, we have a Narasimha sannidhi ,west of the main entrance.
The place is usually crowded in saturdays with voluntary police security.
