Spring Creek Academy
Spring Creek Academy is a Dallas area Private School for "Gifted, Talented, and Highly Motivated students". Located in Plano, Texas, Spring Creek Academy opened in 1996 and currently serves approximately 200 students in grades K-12.
Spring Creek Academy is a private college prep school, offering all core and academic elective courses required to meet mandated state requirements for graduation.

History
Spring Creek Academy was founded by Karen Morrell in 1996 as an outgrowth of Tutorial Service of Plano. Tutorial Service of Plano was founded by Karen Morrell in 1989 and continues to offer after school tutoring in all subjects. Several Spring Creek Academy teachers supplement their income by working as after school tutors serving students from all schools.
Morrell was approached by a group of young gymnasts who were seeking opportunities to practice more hours and still receive a complete education.
