The Mite Sandman (Spialia paula) is a butterfly of the Hesperiidae family. It is found in Botswana, Transvaal and Zimbabwe. The habitat consists of dry savanna.

The wingspan is 20–27 mm.[2] This is a small butterfly that is primarily brown with white spots on the dorsal side of the wings.[2] Adults are on wing between August and April.[2] Adults of both sexes feed from flowers.[3]
