The ocellated gecko, Sphaerodactylus argus, is a species of gecko found in the Caribbean.
Geographic range
The type locality is Jamaica and Tobago.[2] It is also native to Cuba and Hispaniola. Ocellated geckos can be found in the Florida Keys, where they have well-established populations, though it is unsure if they were introduced or are native.
Habitat
Sphaerodactylus argus is a climbing species, and it can also be seen in buildings.
Diet
The ocellated gecko feeds on insects and other small invertebrates.
