Southwest Prairie Conference
The Southwest Prairie Conference (SPC) is an organization of eight high schools in northern Illinois, representing five communities in that part of the state. These high schools are all members of the Illinois High School Association. The conference began competing during the 2006-2007 academic year. All of the schools came from the former Suburban Prairie Conference South division except for Romeoville High School, which came from the SICA (South Inter Conference Association). Plainfield South High School was the conference's champion for Football in the inaugural season, as was Oswego East for boys' basketball and speech, Oswego for Tennis, and Minooka for Wrestling.
