The 1900 South Dakota gubernatorial election was held on November 6, 1900, to elect a Governor of South Dakota to a two-year term. Incumbent Fusion Party member Andrew E. Lee was ineligible to run again due to term limits.

Republican nominee Charles N. Herreid was elected, defeating Fusion Party candidate Burre H. Lien, Prohibition Party candidate F. J. Carlisle, and Populist L. E. Stair.
