The South American lime tree frog, Sphaenorhynchus platycephalus, is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. This species is only known from the unspecified type locality of South America; it cannot be related to any known population of frogs in the wild. Its natural habitats are presumed to be rivers, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.
